RATES / POLICIES
Private instructions are offered in three durations: 30, 45 and 60 minutes, depending of the student's age, expectations and level. Monthly lesson payments are due at the beginning of the month for the first 2 months. After that, the tuition is due at the end of the month for the lessons given for that month.
I am offering ONE TRIAL LESSON at NO CHARGE.
TUITION RATE:
30 minutes = $40.00
45 minutes = $55.00
60 minutes = $70.00
Violin rental available. ($25.00 a month plus $100.00 deposit)
I do not teach at Le Jardin Academy any longer. I do have however 6 home school students in Kailua so I go there once a week on Monday only. If I have an opening left, I will be happy to come and teach your child at your home. Contact me through this website!
CANCELLATIONS:
My policy is "No lesson, No Charge". .. BUT ! ... Please notify me at least 24 hours prior to your lesson time if you need to cancel. You can text or call and leave a message. We will try to do a make up lesson that week if our schedule permits it. If we are not able to reschedule that week, you will get the credit for that lesson the following month during the "paid in advance" 2 months. (See above). After the first 2 months, the tuition is due at the end of the month for the number of lessons we had that month.
We have one to two public recitals a year. All of the students are encouraged but not required to participate. Chamber Music groups are being formed during the year. String duets, string trios, piano trios and string Quartets are encouraged to play at our regular recitals. All coaching will take place at the Musicians' Association of Hawaii. (please look under "Location" on this website). The fee depends on the formation being formed. Please contact me for further details if interested.
